The Loci Points Program is a core feature of the Loci ecosystem, offering an accounting framework for loyalty rewards, use of Loci facilities, equipment, products, and service by members of the Loci community.
The Program operates in some ways like traditional timeshare credits. While many legacy timeshare protocols are intentionally opaque and may be difficult to calculate, Loci’s Points Program is a simple, hourly-based system, with 24 hours per traditional nightly rental.
This program will evolve and mature through membership governance, ultimately converting to a robust fully tokenized micro-economy supporting many elements of the Loci Community.

How is the Current Point Value Determined?
The posted Current Point Value is determined by calculating the Average Market Hourly Rate of all individual units across the Loci portfolio, and is updated when properties are acquired and activated, or deactivated and liquidated, and when rates are adjusted.
EXAMPLE:

How are Point Supplies Determined?
The Available Point Supply indicates how many points are currently available for pre-purchase. This amount is a portion of the Global Point Supply and fluctuates based on sales activity and how offers are configured.
The Global Point Supply is calculated by the total amount of hours in 1 year, multiplied by the amount of rentable units in the Loci portfolio, and is updated when properties are acquired and activated, or deactivated and liquidated.
EXAMPLE:
8,766 (hours per year) x 3 units = 26,298 points
Each point represents 1 hour, so redeeming 24 points provides 1 night stay.

What can I use the points for?
Points are used by members to redeem for discounted stays in units at Loci Places.
Future opportunities to redeem points will include on-site and digital services and offerings, use of Aptera vehicles, Loci products, and inter-member exchanges.
Do the points expire?
The points purchased through this program do not expire. As long as Loci offers products and services which may be included in the points program, active members may redeem or exchange points.
When can I use my points for a stay in a Loci place?
Loci is developing the Skymeadow project and analyzing other opportunities for acquisition. As soon as construction is complete, members will have the first opportunity to book a stay.

Can I give or sell my points to someone else?
The Loci Points Program is only available for use by our active members. Any stays that are redeemed require that the member be present for the stay. A member may redeem points to use multiple units (for example, hosting a large group), but the member must stay in the same Place as the rest of the group.
The marketplace functionality for trading points among members is projected to be ready by 2026.
What if I don't use my points?
Of course we want our members to enjoy our facilities, but soon you may see even greater benefit in holding/staking those points. Ask us about our plans for staking points!
The secondary marketplace with points integration will also make it easy for members to transfer points to other members.
What if I want more points?
Members may return to this page any time to purchase more points.
Also, look out for the launch of our referral program to earn bonus points.
In the next phase of platform development, the marketplace will support the exchange of points between members.
Does buying points give me equity or ownership in any property?
The Loci Points Program DOES NOT represent ownership, equity, or legal interest in any asset.
These points are utilized to account for credits which are purchased, held, traded, or redeemed for the limited use of Loci facilities, equipment, products, and services by private members of the Loci community.
Purchase of Points does not guarantee redemption. While specifics may change, all reasonable attemps will be made to redeem Points for optimal experiential value.
